Resin Coatings A range of quality, easy to apply and solvent free resin coatings. Thin film coatings for lighter traffic or domestic garage use and high build coatings for heavy industrial applications. Whether an experienced applicator or new to resin coatings, we will assist you to find the correct product and how to apply.
Floor Fix has worked in conjunction with leading resin manufacturers, to bring this range of own label resin products. Different manufacturers products vary depending upon ease of application, opaqueness, adhesion and durability. Floor Fix has selected a range of products to give the best combination of properties to suit both the professional and first time applicator.

Resin Coatings are classified into four categories according to British Standards; thin film coatings with a dry film thickness (dft) of 50 to 150 micron, high build coatings with a dft of 150 to 350 micron, self smoothing screeds of typically 2 to 4 mm and full screeds of 6 to 9 mm thickness.
Why Choose a Resin Coating?
Resin Coatings create a strong and permanent bond to the substrate, much stronger than conventional paints. They are resistant to most commonly used chemicals and are extremely durable. Depending upon traffic and coating thicknesses life expectancies of 15 years plus are not unreasonable. The resin surface is easily cleanable and the high build and self smoothing coatings are hygienic and suitable for use in food preparation areas and hospitals.
What Surfaces Can Resin Coatings be Used On?
Resins can be applied to a wide range of surfaces; concrete, coated concrete, ceramic and quarry tiles, terrazzo, timber, asphalt.
What About Slip Resistance?
The coating can be applied then Floor Fix Grip spread on top with the coating then back rolled. This forms a hard wearing long life slip resistant surface.
