When used in connection with the SmartHub this locking nut will work with most newer popular 7” angle grinders on the market today. Recessed in the backing plate it keeps the sanding disc in place so that it works efficiently.
Hub
This lightweight hub supports a flat metal plate that makes very efficient use of any floor surfacing disc you may put on it. It reduces wear and tear on the grinder while creating airflow to help dust reduction.
Hood
The leather shroud is heavy duty and designed for flexibility to handle various surface preparation conditions. The snaps make replacement easy.
Top Plate
Base plate for the SmartHood that fits most 7ins or 9ins angle grinders with ease and strength. The snaps make it easy to replace a worn leather shroud.
Guard Ring
Made in high density plastic, this durable ring protects walls, cabinets and other surfaces while sanding and grinding. The friction mounting makes it convenient for moving around to maximise life and replace worn parts.
Manufactured in heat treated sprung steel, this plate is designed to withstand the abuse put to it in floor surface preparation. It is completely flat so as to use as much of the sanding disc as possible.
